Little Sears's room will be themed to Space!!
I found my inspiration for the room on Etsy, of course! Our mobile will arrive from Australia sometime this week and it will be twice the size with 7 strands, not three.
Decisions made so far include dark blue/gray walls, with punchy accents of brighter colors like the orange, green, and blue you see in the mobile to be found in seating and storage. Do dark walls scare you like they scare me? We've always wanted to try something bold, and this little guy has inspired us to challenge our design sense and explore outside our comfort zone.
I love the mobile! Is it felted wool? It will really be lovely. I know how frightening dark walls can be but the colors of the mobile would contrast a dark gray nicely. It is all very exciting!

Hey there! We painted all four walls in "Steel" by Serena and Lily, and we painted the ceiling a brighter, slightly lighter blue. It turned out really amazing. We've almost completed the entire nursery, we're just working on the final touches--we're adding the boys' constellations and we have yet to paint an accent chair. I'm so excited to share but I've been reluctant to until it's finished! Stay tuned!!
