Here's Little Sears at today's NT scan. Heartrate was 158--exactly the same as Roscoe's at his NT scan (at 12 weeks, 5 days). All the markers looked great, and the baby is even measuring ahead by another few days--must be the cookies!
WOW! You would think that after three children of our own and three grand children, seeing these images would be old hat. But not so - these are amazing! Keep up the good work.....
Mama Tully: I don't really have a feeling this time! I was convinced Roscoe was a girl, so my intuition on these things doesn't have a very good track record. This pregnancy has been quite different from my first, and this baby doesn't look how Roscoe looked at his NT scan...since yours look like twins, what are you thinking?! Are you hoping for boy or girl?
Maybe you will get more of a feeling a little later in the pregnancy. Have you had any dreams? I hear those can actually be pretty accurate! This pregnancy is the complete opposite of my first, but all the symptoms and old wives tales point to girl...so I am thinking it's a girl. Although, like you, I was convinced that Lilah was a boy, so I don't totally trust my intuition on this matter! LOL! I would love to have another girl since they will be so close in age and I would love for them to have that special sister relationship, but we would also be so excited to have a boy since we don't have one yet!
Mama Tully: That's been my thought too. I would love for Roscoe to have a brother so close in age. But for me, I would love a little girl, just because! What has your little one's heart rate been? I know it's a myth, but I couldn't help but think, "hmm, maybe this is a boy after all", based solely on the fact that they both had heart rates of 158.
On the upside, I wouldn't need to buy any boy clothes because they're both spring babies!
Hmmmm....that's a tough one because their HR was the same, BUT isn't it the "old wives tale" under 140 for a boy and over 140 for a girl?!? My little one's heart rate was 160. I don't recall ever being told what Lilah's was. My two will be opposite seasons for clothes, which is kind of a bummer if it's another girl.
That first pic is a great one! So fun seeing the little peanuts :)

ReplyDeleteSooo cute! Isn't it amazing that a little human is in there?! Are you feeling like its a boy or girl?!
