That was my goal this time too. I tried ...Dp: yes! That was my goal this time too. I tried to keep things simple but of course, I messed up the quiche crust the first time I made it, so I had to make it twice, but otherwise it was all pretty quick to put together. Happy 4th to your little girl!

Mama Tully: I think of two year olds as babies but Roscoe doesn't seem like a baby, especially, as you point out, compared to his little brother. For us, it's Roscoe's vocabulary that makes him seem older than he is. Strangers often ask about his age, and the spread between the two boys, and I always think it's fun to say, "oh, he's two!", because it isn't what people seem to expect. Anyway, I've noticed that two year olds are kind of on the verge between toddlers and full-blown kids. I'm looking forward to whatever comes next with him! The two's have their challenges, but I hear three's are worse....I think it's all fun, mostly :)

Mitzi: Same spread as us! I think it makes me feel better now that they really are 1 and 2, because it sort of justifies all on its own why I feel a little frazzled!Jacqueline Searshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04091598444684936482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7519610371756735682.post-9972602858107002122012-02-22T14:03:50.458-05:002012-02-22T14:03:50.458-05:00They are adorable & I will do the same in May ...They are adorable & I will do the same in May when Colton turns 1 & B won't be 3 until August :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08000132258954274515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7519610371756735682.post-15341003373236256162012-02-22T13:32:36.409-05:002012-02-22T13:32:36.409-05:00I'm so hungry after reading the menu. Great mix of colors!
It's funny, I was just saying to my husband the other day that in a couple of weeks we will have a 1 year old and 2 year old, lol! Lilah isn't even 2 and a half yet, but for some reason I think of her as a 3 year old already. I don't know if it's because she is so tall for her age or if it's because she just seems SO MUCH older than her sister, but saying they are 1 and 2 just doesn't feel right. I'm sure I'll get used to it though. I'm probably just in denial that my baby is nearly 1 :/Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07929850176678535570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7519610371756735682.post-56821864041370109122012-02-22T12:21:15.272-05:002012-02-22T12:21:15.272-05:00* oh, how i love a cupcake party ! *

I've been struggling with food ideas that won't have me stuck at the stove (as per usual). Loving the whipped cream + berries ~dphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09462164998155688667noreply@blogger.com
